We were in the area for a baseball tournament and this house was perfect for the teenage boys and parents. The owner was very responsive! Would stay here again if we return to the area.

I am not one to leave reviews, but I have to with this vacation spot. It was by far the best that I have rented in the last 10 years that my family has been coming to Helen. The cabin was absolutely beautiful, clean, and had everything needed. My husband loved the grill!! Got to check it out! It is close enough to Helen and all the entertainment but far enough away to get the peaceful serene time with your fanily when you have had enough of the busy life in town. The check in was super easy and communication with the owner was amazing! My whole family comes to Helen every year at the same time, each family rent different spots so I will definitely be trying to get this spot for next year!! Highly recommend!!!

The cabin was everything that it was said to be. We had a great time while we were staying in the cabin. Had to call Heikki a couple of times about small problems and he came right out and fixed the problems, he is a great guy to deal with. Will stay in Heikki"s cabin again.

A friend and I decided we wanted a weekend away in the mountains and we found the Bavarian Pit Stop Cabin on VRBO. We’d never been to Helen but were so excited to find a cabin with a hot tub and a view! We couldn’t believe how spacious the cabin was, we had so much space for just 2 of us! The game room downstairs was an awesome addition, too. The rocking chairs on the porch were so much fun to sit on in the evening. We decided not to rent a car and walked everywhere-but we didn’t realize how much of a steep incline it was to get up to the cabin-or that Uber, Lyft and taxis are pretty much non existent in Helen. I would definitely rent a car so you can get to other places! However, we still had a great time just staying local, trying all the food, going on hikes, and hanging out in the hot tub. We woke up early enough one day to watch the sunrise and the view took our breath away! Loved this cabin, good for all ages!
